We are a non-profit organization devoted to the encouragement of art and community in the Adirondack region of Northern New York State.
Our Gallery is located on Main Street in the historic village of Essex, NY, on the shores of scenic Lake Champlain.
It features the diverse work of over 50 Exhibiting Members. The artists of the Association reside in Essex, Clinton, Warren, and Hamilton Counties, yet their work is known and appreciated far beyond our region.
The Gallery is a window on the creative spirit at work in the North Country, in media ranging from oils, watercolors and pastels to ceramics, glass and photography.
We invite you to explore our site, visit our gallery and experience the creativity at the center of our vibrant community!
From the north
Interstate 87 (Adirondack Northway) to Exit 33, follow Route 22 South through Willsboro.
From the south
Interstate 87 (Adirondack Northway) to Exit 31, follow Rt. 9N to Elizabethtown/Wadhams Road, continue on Elizabethtown-Wadhams Road/Route 22 to Essex.
From Vermont
From Vermont: Take the Lake Champlain Ferry from Charlotte to Essex, turn left at the shore, park—we're at the blinking red light!
From Lake Placid and the Adirondacks
Route 73 to Keene, right on Route 9N to Elizabethtown, left on Elizabethtown/Wadhams Road, continue on Route 22 to Essex.
From Westport
Essex Road north to Essex.
