The Adirondack Art Association was founded in 1963.
Our mission is to encourage art and contribute to community in the Adirondack Region.
Today we number over 100 members, including exhibiting artists and individuals who provide enthusiastic support for the arts.
Our gallery showcases the work of our members from May to October, with a special Christmas show in early December.
We are proud to promote the work of local artists and to offer art-oriented workshops for all ages that draw on the North Country's immense reservoir of artistic talent.
We gratefully acknowledge the past support of the Essex Community Fund, the New York State Council on the Arts and the Arts Council for the Northern Adirondacks as we look ahead to new programs that contribute to the artistic vitality of the region.
